2. Client Requirements & Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

1. Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information
   
    
2. Submit all required tax documents
   
    
3. Review their tax return prior to e-filing
   
    
4. Communicate promptly regarding changes or corrections
   
    
5. Pay all applicable fees
   
    

Wynter Express is not responsible for penalties, delays, or IRS issues resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

3. Tax Preparation Fees

Fees vary based on:

• Form complexity
  
   
• Time required
  
   
• Additional schedules
  
   
• State filings
  
   
• Bank product fees (Refund Advantage)
  
   
• Administrative handling
  
   
• Bookkeeping cleanup or review
  
   

A final invoice will reflect the true complexity of the return.

4. Refund Advantage Bank Products — Terms of Use

When you choose a Refund Advantage bank product (advance, bank-issued check, debit card, or refund transfer):

You acknowledge:

• Approval is not guaranteed
  
   
• Bank fees are separate from Wynter Express fees
  
   
• Refund disbursement timing is controlled by the bank and IRS
  
   
• Refund delays from the IRS or state agencies are outside Wynter Express control
  
   
• Additional verification may be required
  
   

Wynter Express cannot alter or speed up bank processing.

5. OLT Pro Software Compliance

All returns are prepared through OLT Pro, which follows:

• IRS e-file rules
  
   
• Security standards
  
   
• Validation checks
  
   

Clients agree that e-filing is subject to OLT Pro’s processing availability and system functionality.

6. Refund Policy 

A. Refund Policy for Tax Preparation (Upfront-Paying Clients)

If a client pays out-of-pocket for tax preparation:

• There are no refunds once the tax return is completed and delivered for review, whether electronically or in person.
  
   
• Refunds are not provided if:
  
  
  • The IRS or state reduces a refund
    
     
  • The IRS offsets a refund
    
     
  • A return is rejected due to incorrect client information
    
     
  • The client becomes ineligible for a credit
    
     
  • The client requests amendments due to original incorrect information they supplied
    
     

Full refunds are only issued if Wynter Express made a verifiable preparer error.

B. Refund Policy for Bank Product Clients (Refund Advantage)

If your tax prep fees are deducted from your refund:

• There are no up-front fees
  
   
• You only pay if the return is filed
  
   
• If the IRS intercepts or offsets your refund, you are still responsible for tax preparation fees
  
   
• Wynter Express may issue an invoice for unpaid fees
  
   
• Bank product fees are non-refundable and not controlled by Wynter Express
   

C. Refund Policy for Bookkeeping, Accounting & Administrative Services

These services are billable by time, project, or monthly retainer.

Refunds are issued only if:

• Work was not performed as agreed
  
   
• Services were canceled prior to commencement
  
   
• A billing error occurred
  
   

Refunds are not issued for:

• Completed bookkeeping or reconciliations
  
   
• Time spent reviewing incomplete records
  
   
• Administrative tasks already performed
  
   
• Software or third-party subscription costs
  
   
• Delays caused by client documentation issues
  
   

7. No Guarantee of Tax Refund Amounts or Outcomes

Wynter Express does not guarantee:

• Refund amounts
  
   
• Processing times
  
   
• Eligibility for credits
  
   
• Approval for a refund advance
  
   
• That a return will not be audited
  
   

All outcomes are determined by federal and state agencies.

8. Amendments & Corrections

If a correction or amendment is needed due to:

A Wynter Express error:

No amendment fee is charged.

Client-provided incorrect or missing information:

An amendment fee applies.

9. Website Use Terms

Users agree to:

• Not misuse this website
  
   
• Not attempt to copy or steal content
  
   
• Not impersonate Wynter Express
  
   
• Not upload harmful files or malicious code
  
   
• Use scheduling, forms, and communication channels responsibly
  
   

10. Intellectual Property

All branding, graphics, logos, service descriptions, content, and digital materials on this website belong exclusively to Wynter Express Services LLC.

Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

Wynter Express is not liable for:

• Refund reductions or offsets
  
   
• Third-party bank issues
  
   
• Errors caused by client-provided information
  
   
• Software outages (OLT Pro or others)
  
   
• Cyberattacks or internet outages beyond our control
  
   

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for tax preparation services.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
